Using 3D CAD modelling
The strength of our design department is at the heart of Toyama’s success. We have a team of senior mechanical design engineers supported by additional CAD engineers. Electronics and electrical design is also provided by fully qualified engineers. The engineering resources are organised in a flexible way with teams being formed in response to specific project needs.
Our design teams have ability to undertake all aspects of system design from basic CAD modelling to applying tools for structural, thermal and vibrational analysis. Our CAD and CAE packages allows the design teams to share data amongst themselves and with our customers. We recognise that designing state-of–the–art instrumentation can, at times, be an iterative process, and we always strive to achieve the very best performance from our products. Toyama prides itself in working with the customer, and you can be sure that your project will get the very best support from our engineering group.
As well as undertaking design projects, our engineers are often involved in more fundamental research and development programmes, working either with external customers, or on internal product developments.
