Broad-band linear electron time-of-flight (eTOF) spectrometer

Features

eTOF spectrometer

Our linear electron time-of-flight was specially optimized for measuring the kinetic energy distribution of photoelectrons generated using ultrashort lasers, especially atto-second laser pulses. The high-harmonic pulses generated from a typical attosecond laser system have a broad bandwidth (on the order of few tenth to a hundred of eV) and low photon flux; these parameters require an electron spectrometer with high transmission over a broad energy range. Our electrostatic lens design can measure large emission angles over an energy range of 150 eV with same voltage setting of the lens. The 1 m-length flight tube provides sufficient energy resolution to resolve the energy peak of the photoelectron produced with attosecond XUV pulses.

We use SIMION software for the design of the electrostatic lens system, it is possible for this to be customized to meet your specific needs or improve the sensitivity of existing instruments. Other types of electron spectrometers, such as magnetic bottle time-of-flight, velocity map imaging etc., are available upon request. If you are interested in our instrument design service or have any further question, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our technical staff who have research background (Ph.D.s) are happy to share their experience and discuss with you in details. Your feedback and experiences with electron spectrometers are important to us.
