The site of the new factory is on a hill above the town of Yamakita. Looking out from the site over the town there is a fine view of Mount Fuji in the distance.
Mount Fuji is a symbol of the Japanese Island. The Japanese people regard Mount Fuji as one of the gods and it is a sacred, spiritual and powerful place. There are many Sengen shrines on the sides and on the summit of Mount Fuji. Respect for nature is a part of traditional japanese culture and it is important for the Japanese people.
Surrounding our new factory we will try to revive the chinju no mori, the sacred forest groves of ancient Japan. These groves around Shinto shrines are revered as the dwelling place of kami spirits.
